PROGRAM AT A GLANCE

• Harrington customizes each student's academic program to suit his individual aptitudes and interests. This is intended to maximize success and keep each student motivated.

• Harrington's student-teacher ratio is 7 to 1 allowing for focus on individual learning styles, differentiated learning and promoting an interactive learning approach.  

• Harrington offers an integrated approach to its course design whereby elective courses, subjects of interest and experiential learning are integrated into the core curriculum. The result is that courses become more relevant and more meaningful therefore promoting retention of material and a more meaningful learning experience.

• Elective courses are designed to motivate, challenge and encourage exploration in particular areas of interest.

• Advance level course work is available for students who are ready to embrace the challenge. Students will be prepared to take PSAT, AP and ACT tests.

• Elective courses and community involvement are integrated into the program at every grade level. In the senior grades, these activities are tailored to individual interests providing a superior foundation for entrance into the university discipline of choice.
