To all HCC parents :
As you probably know, an Advisory Parents Committee (hereafter, the « APC ») has been created to support HCC administration in its numerous efforts to make HCC the best college it can be. This Committee was created with the full support of HCC administration.
The role of the APC is not to impose its views to HCC administration but rather to serve as liaison between parents and HCC administration as well as to provide support to the college so as to improve overall quality of life for the students: APC
During the December 18, 2008 reunion, parents in attendance elected 5 directors to sit on the Managing Board « MB» of the said APC. The following parents were so appointed.

We are looking forward to this great challenge, with the hope that many parents, even those from abroad, will provide their ideas and support.
We are planning to create Sub-Committees to work on special projects, providing enough parents accept to participate: the following themes are being considered:
- Improving quality of Student Life at HCC
- Improving info available to parents on HCC website or through other communications means
- Possible Welcome Committee and Program, at the beginning of school year
- Extra-curricular activities for students
- Improve contacts and info between parents and HCC administration and academy
- Hockey including the sharing of information between parents on various programs, showcases, players’ development, etc….
If you have any interest in helping out or have any information, suggestion or idea to contribute to our efforts to keep on improving the HCC experience for our sons and better information to parents, it will be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind that we are in a start-up phase: the nature of our interventions will be a « Work in Progress » and our results and impact will depend greatly on how much the other parents accept to contribute, in any way they can and wherever they are.
